Cooking Recipes

Cooking is relaxing and gives me a chance to do for others since I make way too much food for just me.  Looking at the dozen or so cookbooks on the bakers rack to my right, I think there's probably no more than two or three recipes I use out of each.  Even my favorite cookbook, a Better Homes and Garden copyrighted in 1956, doesn't get the attention it deserves.

Long ago I promised Heather I'd forward a recipe that called for "ten cents worth of baking soda", and I"m still looking.

Thanksgiving brought all this to mind, trying to decide what to take to the annual dinner gathering with friends.  I'll end up cooking something from Soul Food and Southern Cooking, the best collection of recipes I've found.
